If you are ever in need of a good belly laugh, comedian Preacher Lawson has got you covered. The Season 12 America’s Got Talent star just posted his audition video for NBC’s American Ninja Warrior. Does Preacher have the skills to take on the notoriously difficult obstacle course on the show?
‘America’s Got Talent’ Star Preacher Lawson Posts Audition for ‘American Ninja Warrior’
Preacher scales up the side of a staircase like Spider-Man and jumps over the railing in the video. Throughout the video, he repeats that he wants someone to put him on American Ninja Warrior. He does a little jump before stumbling at the top of the staircase. He playfully tumbles down the full flight of stairs before doing a front roll at the bottom. Preacher sits on the floor for a couple of seconds to catch his breath.
While he seductively gets up from the ground, he asks the cameraman if he is looking at his butt. Preacher decides in that moment to show off his twerking skills while the camera is still rolling. As if we didn’t already love him enough, his twerking skills would definitely get our Golden Buzzer.
If you are still doubting whether or not Preacher has the skills for American Ninja Warrior, maybe his recent Instagram post will change your mind. After a show on his comedy tour in Rochester, New York, Preacher jumped on his hotel bed. He jumped so high, it literally looks like he is flying in the video. Preacher really has all the reason to jump to new heights because his first tour show was packed to the walls.
Preacher Has Been Posting Hilarious Content Throughout the Pandemic
During the pandemic, Preacher has managed to keep all of us thoroughly entertained with his funny skits. On Valentine’s Day, he pranked his fans by saying he was engaged to model Nami Madyun. The prank led to heavy criticism from some fans, but other’s thought it was truly hilarious.
“Hey everybody I just want to say thank you for congratulating me on this engagement that doesn’t exist,” he said in a since-deleted video. “It’s not real, I’m not getting engaged. A lot of you know that and you’re just trolling me because I trolled you first.”
All is forgiven for the 30-year-old who also competed on America’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2019. His online popularity and hysterical jokes led to a successful run on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions that same year. Preacher recently appeared on NBC’s sitcom Mr. Mayor alongside Ted Danson. Maybe in the future we will actually see him on American Ninja Warrior, if not as a contestant, then as a comedic sideline reporter.
