Why ‘DWTS’ Fans Are Convinced Jenna Johnson, Val Chmerkovskiy Are Expecting Again

Are married Dancing with the Stars pros Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy expecting their second child together? That’s what some fans recently thought, but Johnson shut down the rumors on social media.
Fans Think Jenna Johnson, Val Chmerkovskiy Are Expecting
Heavy reports that Johnson and Chmerkovskiy recently became neighbors with Chmerkovskiy’s brother Maksim and his wife Peta Murgatroyd. Johnson documented their move on social media, and one clip had fans speculating about a possible pregnancy.
Johnson said in an Instagram story that “everyone thinks I’m pregnant.” She added, “News to me. But I guess on our moving video, I said ‘so excited for our next adventure’ and I touched my tummy? And now, everyone thinks I’m pregnant.”
Fans also apparently spotted a box in Johnson’s video that appeared to be marked “Baby K.” However, Johnson has denied that she is pregnant with another baby, saying, “What? You guys! No! No, no, and no. So, let’s just clarify that. But, love you. Thanks, but no.”

The Couple Wants to Wait to Have More Kids
Johnson and Chmerkovskiy welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Rome, in January 2023. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, has been open about their fertility journey, including a past miscarriage.
Fans probably shouldn’t expect another pregnancy announcement from the couple anytime soon. During an Instagram Q & A in March, Johnson explained that she wants to spend more time with just Rome “before thinking about another one.”
Ideally, she said would want to “want to wait a couple more years,” joking, “We just celebrated his first birthday, like give me a second.”
Johnson said something similar to E! News in February, explaining, “We definitely want to expand our family. But I think we’re gonna wait a little. There’s no timeline.”
