Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson (who will soon go by Kelly Brianne) was the first ever winner of American Idol. She won the long-running show in 2002, and launched her career with a series of hit albums. Over the years, Clarkson has performed pop, pop rock, and country music and has earned three Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, and more. 

Clarkson is currently a coach on The Voice, and won her first two seasons on the show; first with Brynn Cartelli in season 14 and then with Chevel Shepherd in season 15. Clarkson also hosts her own talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show along with new singing competition American Song Contest along with Snoop Dogg. 

Clarkson shares two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The two married in 2013, but divorced in 2021. In order to finalize the messy divorce, Clarkson agreed to pay Blackstock a one-time payment of over $1.3 million, in addition to monthly child support payments of $45,601 despite sharing custody. Clarkson will also pay Blackstock $115,000 per month in spousal support until January 31, 2024.
