Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley Surprise Fans with ‘Paisleywood’ Reunion

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley recently reunited at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena amid her ongoing arena tour, The Denim & Rhinestones Tour. Consequently, fans can’t help but reminisce the pair’s professional past.

Underwood and Paisley may not have returned as hosts of the Country Music Awards, but their chemistry is nevertheless alive. During Underwood’s stop in Nashville for her tour, the duo had a brief reunion, thus delighting fans with their sentimental exchanges.

“Well, this ain’t an awards show / But here we are, me and you,” Paisley sang, referencing one parody songs.

For those who may not know, Underwood and Paisley have been an adorable pair throughout the years. The two used to be frequent collaborators, sharing the same label home at Sony Nashville. Furthermore, fans have loved them for more than a decade for being co-hosts in the CMAs. They are also famously known for their country smash “Remind Me.”


On stage, the two even delivered their popular spoof, with Underwood singing “You’re funnier than Luke.”

This was then responded by Paisley, chiming “You’re prettier than Peyton.”

Soon after this, fans went to social media to express how happy they were about the reunion. One even wrote that seeing “Paisleywood” together again has healed their inner child.


She Thanks Nashville for the ‘Insane’ Support

As per Nashville’s energy during The Denim & Rhinestones Tour, fans are still not getting enough of Underwood. The country superstar evidently felt the support, thus thanking her hometown for their love.

“Still processing last night in Nashville at the @bridgestonearenaofficial ! The hometown crowd was INSANE!!!” she wrote. “And I am so grateful that @bradpaisley and @jasonaldean came out to make it extra special! It was truly a night I will never forget! THANK YOU MUSIC CITY!!!”

Apart from Paisley, James Aldean also served as Underwood’s surprise guest. Together, the two sang their chart-topping hit “If I Didn’t Love You.”
