The 2022 CMA Awards were held on Wednesday night, and several talent show stars were in attendance, showing off some great fashion looks. Let’s check out some of the best dressed stars from American Idol, The Voice, America’s Got Talent, and more.
The Best Dressed Talent Show Stars at the CMAs
1. Katy Perry
The American Idol judge attended the awards to perform her song “Where We Started” with Thomas Rhett. Perry took the country theme very seriously, wearing a low-cut denim outfit with a large bow, accessorized with diamonds.
2. Kelly Clarkson
The former American Idol winner and returning The Voice coach also went for a denim look, as she took the stage with Kelsea Ballerini and Carly Pearce to perform “You’re Drunk, Go Home.” Clarkson accessorized the dress with a black belt and gold hoops.
3. Chapel Hart
This country trio, who recently made it to the Finals on AGT Season 17, attended Wednesday’s ceremony in some seriously glamorous looks. Danica Hart accessorized her gown with a cowboy hat, while Trea Swindle wen for a mirrored suit and Devynn Hart wrapped herself in fur.
4. Carrie Underwood
The former American Idol winner walked the red carpet in a dramatic blue gown, but it was her performance look while paying tribute to Loretta Lynn that really stood out. The glittery ballgown featured chartreuse on top and lavender on the bottom.
5. Lionel Richie
The American Idol judge had a cute moment with co-star Katy Perry on the red carpet, as he sported an all-black outfit featuring a leather jacket and patent leather shoes. Richie left his shirt untucked and accessorized with a silver necklace.
6. Danielle Bradbery
This Season 4 The Voice winner stunned in a white gown during Wednesday’s awards. The halter-style dress featured two long swaths of fabric in the back which added drama to the look. Bradbery completed the outfit by wearing her hair in a bun.
7. Kelsea Ballerini
This former coach on The Voice series The Comeback Stage brought color to the CMA Awards red carpet in a bright blue gown. One sleeve of the dress came down to cover Ballerini’s hand like a glove. As the singer joked on Instagram, “i’m blue da ba dee da ba daaaa.”
8. Jessie James Decker
This Dancing with the Stars Season 31 contestant looked like a femme fatale on Wednesday night in her sparkly red gown, which she accessorized with voluminous curls and a glass of champagne.
9. Luke Bryan
The American Idol judge co-hosted this year’s ceremony with Peyton Manning. He walked the red carpet in a stylish black tux, accompanied by his wife Caroline, who wore a leopard-print gown accented by a black belt.
10. Lindsay Ell
The host of Canada’s Got Talent attended Wednesday’s ceremony in an animal-print gown with a criss-cross detail across her chest. She wore her hair in an updo with pieces framing her face to complete the look.
