Can Talent Show Judges Sing? You Judge The Judges!

We’ve seen tons of great contestants grace the stage, but how about the judges? Celebrity judges are typically known for their roles outside of the show, but that doesn’t stop them from putting on a grand show at the end of the season.
Celebrity judges perform once in a blue moon on our favorite talent shows, so let’s judge their performances. They typically judge contestants, so let’s take their place and decide which judge would make it into the next round.
1. Nicole Scherzinger
It’s no secret that X Factor UK judge Nicole Scherzinger is one of the singers in The Pussycat Dolls. She put on an amazing diva mash up performance in 2016.
2. Julianne Hough
America’s Got Talent judge Julianne Hough took the stage to sing her new song in 2019. Within the performance this judge showed off her singing and dancing skills alongside V. Unbeatable.
3. Jennifer Lopez
This American Idol judge graced the stage in 2012 with her hit “Dance Again.” This sensual performance features polished choreography performed by Lopez and her background dancers.
4. Simon Cowell
On America’s Got Talent season 17, MetaPhysic Synthetic Media brought a deep fake version of Simon Cowell alive in real time. Cowell was laughing hysterically throughout the performance, he could barely look at the deep fake.
5. Alesha Dixon
Alesha Dixon performs her single “The Way We Are” on Britain’s Got Talent in 2015. This performance also includes a set of background dancers, but the dance aspect doesn’t outshine the singer.
6. Luke Bryan
In 2021, Luke Bryan performed “Waves” on the American Idol stage. This performance differs from the rest because it was just him and his band. In my opinion, this American Idol performance felt the most real.
7. Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato graced The X Factor USA stage with her hit single “Neon Lights.” This singer had a set of background dancers, but the beginning of the song placed emphasis on her singing. This performance was definitely live.
8. Amanda Holden
Britain’s Got Talent fans were surprised to see Amanda Holden take the stage during the 2020 semifinals. The celebrity showed off her beautiful tonality during the slow song. This performance has many hitting their Golden Buzzer.
