Brooke Simpson Belts Ed Sheeran Song Like a True Superstar on ‘AGT’

Brooke Simpson proved that she is a frontrunner on America’s Got Talent with her semifinals performance. The former finalist from The Voice sang Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits.” She commanded the stage with a confidence that is still unmatched by any other AGT contestant.
Brooke Simpson Closes Out ‘AGT’ Semifinals with ‘Bad Habits’
Last week, Brooke owned the night with her performance of “Lost Cause” by Billie Eilish. She had one of the best live performances out of all of the contestants this season. It totally made sense why she was chosen to close out the show this week. She gave us a performance full of big vocals, energy, and heart. She is obviously a crowd favorite on AGT.
The judges gave Brooke a standing ovation at the end of the performance. One thing she has done throughout this entire competition is remain true to herself. Simon Cowell said that even though the song had a shaky start, he loved the second half of it. He feels strongly that Brooke “really deserves to be here next week.”
Sofia Vergara applauded Brooke’s confidence. You can tell that a lot of the other AGT singers are very nervous. Brooke has years of performing experience and always does everything with her Haliwa-Saponi tribe in mind. Her journey on the show has been so inspiring to little girls all over the world who share similar dreams as her.
Heidi Klum felt like Brooke “shined so bright it’s almost blinding.” Howie Mandel said that the vocals didn’t even matter because Brooke “ended with a bang” and “owned it.” She literally sang so hard that one of her earrings flew off. It doesn’t get more iconic than that. Brooke definitely solidified her spot in the AGT finale even more than she already did last week.
