‘American Idol’ Winner Noah Thompson Announces ‘New Chapter’ in Nashville

American Idol Season 20 winner Noah Thompson took to Instagram this week to share some big news with fans. The singer has made the move to Nashville as he continues his music career. He told fans to “stay tuned” for new music.
American Idol Winner Noah Thompson Moves to Nashville
On Tuesday, Thompson posted a mirror selfie from his new house, writing in the caption, “I finally moved to Nashville.” The singer is originally from Louisa, Kentucky, which provided the backdrop for his “Make You Rich” music video.
“It’s been hectic trying to get everything done in the move but it’s all coming together,” Thompson wrote. “I’m really looking forward to this new chapter, can’t wait to get back out on the road and put out some new music for y’all, stay tuned!!”
Season 20 finalist Leah Marlene commented on Thompson’s post, writing, “Woooooo!!!!!!” She also made the move to Nashville last year.
Thompson has also recently posted a few TikTok videos from his new house. In one, he performs a cover of “Can’t You See” by The Marshall Tucker Band in his living room. In another clip, he teases an original song called “She Gets It from Me” while hanging a sign in his house.

Thompson’s Move Was Reported Last Year
In November, the outlet Country Swag reported that Thompson would be moving to Nashville in the new year. The singer had talked about possibly making the move in a previous interview, saying Idol runner-up HunterGirl had encouraged it.
“She really wants me to move to Nashville,” he told Music Mayhem. “I definitely took that into consideration because that’s where country music is, right there. It’s definitely a thought. I’m so used to my little hometown though, it’s almost going to be hard to leave. But to do this, what I’m wanting to, what I’m shooting for, that’s the risk you got to take.”
It’s not clear if Thompson moved to Nashville on his own or with family. The singer has a son named Walker, but his relationship with girlfriend Angel Dixon seems to be up in the air as fans have speculated about a possible breakup.
