Leah Marlene Ditches Los Angeles for Nashville
Following this past American Idol season, standout performer Leah Marlene announced her move to Los Angeles. After her move and concert series, she has been keeping busy writing and performing new music. She also likes to share life updates with her fans and is completely open about her musical career endeavors.
Marlene has been staying in Los Angeles since July, but in early September she moved out to Nashville, TN. Marlene expressed that she loves Los Angeles, but reveals that she’s been struggling with getting the big break she wants. This prompts her to make the difficult decision to move out and stay in a more familiar place, Nashville.
Ahead of American Idol, Marlene spent quite some time in Nashville, so this move isn’t totally out of the blue. This singer was previously enrolled in Belmont University and studied songwriting two school years. Since her movek, she is currently feeling at home with her three roommates. Marlene believes that her move will be good for her career and personal life.
Many believe that Marlene will be able to collaborate with the winner and runner up of her season in this city. Noah Thompson chooses to songwrite in the city, while HunterGirl lives there full time.
New Concert Dates Announced on Her Instagram
The 21-year-old singer recently announced several shows since moving into her new home. Her new concert dates actually begin in her new home. On September 24, Marlene announced that she is set to appear at the Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival. Tickets for the show are available now on the Pilgrimage Festival website.
Marlene’s future shows include an October 5 event at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, and a November 18 show at Bloomington, Illinois. Her single, “Flowers,” which climbed the charts after it was released, will be one of the featured songs on her upcoming shows. Even though Marlene was down about her slow rise to fame, she is clearly persevering through the struggle.
