‘American Idol’ Winner Noah Thompson Releases New Song ‘Make You Rich’

American Idol Season 20 winner Noah Thompson has released a new song called “Make You Rich,” along with an accompanying music video filmed in his hometown of Louisa, Kentucky. The video features an appearance from his son Walker.
Noah Thompson Releases Song “Make You Rich”
Thompson shared on Instagram that his team suggested he record this song after winning American Idol earlier this year. It was apparently one of the songs he considered for his winner’s single, “One Day Tonight.” Thompson wrote that he “loved the message” of the song.
“This song is not about how much money you make, or the things that you have,” Thompson wrote about the track. “It’s about family, friends, being surrounded by your loved ones, all the simplest of things in life that make you happy.”
The song’s music video shows Thompson walking through his hometown, playing with his son Walker, and hanging out with friends around a fire. On the song, Thompson sings, “When it comes to love, I’ll tell you this / You gotta give it like the giving’s gonna make you rich.”

The Singer Is Going on Tour with HunterGirl
Thompson’s next project is heading out on tour with Season 20 runner-up HunterGirl. The duo announced the shows in August, and they recently added three more dates to the schedule. Idol alums Laci Kaye Booth and Grace Leer will also appear as guest performers.
Thompson and HunterGirl will be playing eleven shows, starting October 27 in Columbus, Ohio. The tour will run into November, and the last scheduled date is December 2 in St. Louis, Missouri.
HunterGirl recently signed a record deal with 19 Recordings/BMG, and she released a song of her own on Friday. The singer has been teasing the track, called “Hometown Out of Me,” for months on her social media. Now fans can finally listen to the whole song.
