Reading Time: 3 minutes
America’s Got Talent: All-Stars returned for a second episode on Monday night, as ten more acts from around the world took the stage for a chance to make it to the Finals. Ultimately, only two acts could move on. Host Terry Crews hit the Golden Buzzer for Detroit Youth Choir, while the Superfans voted aerialist Aidan Bryant through to the finale.
Terry Crews Hits AGT: All-Stars Golden Buzzer for Detroit Youth Choir
In Season 14, Crews hit the Golden Buzzer for Detroit Youth Choir. The group ended up finishing the season in second place. On Monday, they returned to the AGT stage to deliver an electrifying performance of “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons.
Judge Simon Cowell said he was “actually speechless” after they performed, calling it “absolute creative magic” before getting emotional. Howie Mandel called it a “championship performance.” But the opinion that really mattered belonged to Crews.
The host chose to hit another Golden Buzzer for Detroit Youth Choir, sending them straight to the Finals. As he told the group, “One Golden Buzzer is not enough.” Crews himself is from Flint, Michigan, so the choir obviously means a lot to him.
However, since Crews was the only one who could hit the Golden Buzzer during tonight’s show, it begs the question of whether judges or hosts should be allowed to give the All-Stars honor to one of their past Golden Buzzer recipients. Let us know how you feel in the comments below.

Aidan Bryant Beats Season 16 Rival Dustin Tavella
This week’s episode was notable for featuring both aerialist Aidan Bryant and magician Dustin Tavella. In Season 16, Dustin won the show, while Aidan came in second place. However, Aidan ended up beating Dustin in this week’s Superfan vote.
Dustin was the first to perform, recruiting the help of the judges as he allowed Crews to telepathically send a message of encouragement to Cowell. He also shared an inspiring message about self-worth with a photo of his younger self. Cowell said Dustin has improved since he was on the show.
Next, Aidan performed a daring aerial performance in which he hung from the ceiling. Heidi Klum said it was his best performance, although Howie Mandel said he was “not a fan of single-person aerial acts.” Cowell, meanwhile, said he would vote for him if he were a Superfan.
Aidan ended up earning that Superfan vote. He was in the Top 3 along with India’s Got Talent winners Divyansh and Manuraj, as well as Brazilian ballet dancer Vitoria Bueno. Only one of them could move on to the AGT: All-Stars Finals, and it ended up being Dustin.
