After Almost 3 Years Of Marriage, Julianne Hough And Husband Brooks Laich Are Separating

It is no secret that Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich’s marriage has been on the rocks especially during the coronavirus pandemic. The two opted to quarantine separately causing tons of speculation that they were headed down the route of divorce. Now, the pair have just confirmed their separation to People Magazine.
They Needed Time To Come To The Decision Of Separating
Their statement says that they have “lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate.” They continued by saying “We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place.” The dancer has been spending quarantine in Los Angeles while the retired hockey pro has been spending time with his dog in Idaho. Julianne has been undoubtedly focused on her Kingry workouts lately and has halted from posting anything on social media about her marriage. In fact, if you take one look at her Instagram it would be hard to tell when she and Brooks started experiencing marital issues since he is not really featured in any posts.
Brooks has also been paying a lot of his focus to his podcast and being an outdoorsman with little mention of his wife on his social media accounts.

Julianne And Brooks Haven’t Seen Each Other For Two Months
Since they have been in quarantine, the couple has not been able to see each other. It was during this time that they were able to come to the realization that they no longer want to be together. A source told people that Julianne has admitted that she is not the same person she was when they first got married. The source said, “She is proud of those differences and changes she’s made and she doesn’t want to go back.”
One of the biggest changes definitely has to be Julianne admitting that she is “not straight.” Brooks was initially shocked when he was told this news but the couple said it led to them getting closer both physically and emotionally.
Julianne Was Spotted Quarantining With Actor Ben Barnes
Julianne noticeably took a walk with handsome British actor Ben Barnes about a month ago. Sources say Hough and Barnes are just two are very good friends. They have hung out together on multiple occasions over the past few years at Hollywood events and at Hough’s home. She even shared an Instagram video in the past of Barnes goofing around in her house. Now it seems like the two may be spending their quarantine together. Hough got so comfortable she began to walk in her socks and carried her shoes in her hands. It is not clear if the pair are staying in Julianne’s house together.
One of the issues that both Brooks and Julianne reportedly butted heads about before the pandemic was having children. On his podcast when Brooks was asked about having babies he said “Just because you have nothing else to do right now, that’s not a reason to bring a life into the world. You can still have sex without having to create a baby.” Julianne has been open about her struggles with endometriosis and how it may prevent her from having children, prompting the couple to start their IVF journey. She froze some of her eggs and Brooks was nothing but supportive. But, the couple decided it was not the right time to have a baby.

Though they are no longer involved romantically, the two are dedicated to remaining friends, with Julianne even putting a series of emojis under one of Brooks’ most recent pictures.
