Kelly Clarkson’s Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock Won’t Be Evicted From Ranch

Although Kelly Clarkson was awarded the Montana ranch previously shared with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, is has now been decided that he will not be evicted from the property. Blackstock stated that he cannot currently afford to relocate.
Clarkson was awarded the ranch after the couple’s prenuptial agreement was validated. The judge overseeing their divorce allowed her to keep all income earned during their marriage as well.
The virtual hearing regarding the ranch happened back on November 11. The judge sided with Blackstock and said that Clarkson cannot evict her ex-husband from the property. If it is proven that Blackstock cannot pay the maintenance fees of the ranch, which costs $81,000 a month to maintain, Clarkson can file another motion to sell.
Clarkson has been declared legally single, but she was ordered to pay $150,000 in spousal support. Clarkson was also ordered to pay $45,601 a month for child support.

The couple was married for nearly seven years before they announced their split in 2020. The Voice coach shares two children with Blackstock, and was awarded primary custody, but the two share physical and legal custody.
Blackstock, who was a talent manager, has said that he wants to leave the entertainment industry altogether. Possibly giving an excuse as to why he has not been able to move. He mentions that he wants to be a full-time rancher and rodeo sponsor.
