X Factor: Celebrity was hardly a success for many, but it may have just changed Megan McKenna’s life. After winning the spin-off show, she’s now making music with Simon Cowell in Los Angeles. Here’s everything we know so far about her upcoming album.

Simon Cowell meets Megan McKenna for album listening session
Megan McKenna is now onto bigger and better things. After winning spin-off show, ‘X Factor: Celebrity’, she’s now on track to release her first solo album. The singer recently took a trip to the States to meet Simon Cowell for a listening session at his very own home in Malibu. This must-have brought back quite a few memories since it was at Simon’s house where Megan auditioned for the show back in November.
“Meeting and listening session with the big boss @simoncowell 🎼 Can’t explain how excited I am for everyone to hear what we’ve been working on. #albummode,” McKenna captions.
The former X Factor contestant sang an original song every Saturday night on the show, making her the favorite amongst viewers. Throughout the competition, her original tracks peaked on the UK charts.
It’s been reported that Megan visited Nashville too, where she recorded the album.
Cowell is currently in the US taping Season 15 of ‘America’s Got Talent’.

Megan McKenna is going on tour with… Lionel Richie!
We aren’t kidding! American Idol judge, Lionel Richie has invited McKenna on his UK tour this summer.
“I can’t wait to support ‪Lionel Richie‬ in Wrexham ‪on June 4th‬ I’ll be coming with my whole band and as a special treat I’ll be previewing some of my new music,” Megan said after the exciting news was announced.
That’s right. If you join Lionel on the UK tour, you’ll get to hear Megan’s brand new music before anyone else.
