At the end of the video, Katy shows off her baby bump in a sheer dress. She later shared that the pregnancy “wasn’t an accident,” adding, “We’re both looking forward to this new interval of life and sharing this.”
Katy Perry Talks About Pregnancy
Katy went live on Instagram Wednesday night to talk about the news. She also shared that she’ll finally be releasing her new album later this year. She called it a “double whammy” and a “two-for.”
“There’s a lot that will be happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, but also figuratively, to something you guys have been waiting for.”
Katy added that she and Orlando are “excited,” and said it’s “the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep.” She said she wanted to tell her fans “through a piece of music, because that’s how I speak to you.”

Katy Perry Releases ‘Never Worn White’ Music Video
Katy explained in her Instagram video that she wrote the song “Never Worn White” a while ago. “I’m sure you can tell who it’s about,” she added, obviously meaning Orlando Bloom.
She calls it “super vulnerable” and “honest,” and says it’s about “surrendering to love,” and the fear you can feel when you choose to commit to someone.

Katy also shared the meaning behind the title, saying, “The truth is, I haven’t worn white.” When she married her ex-husband Russell Brand in 2010, she wore “dove gray.” She added, “Let’s just say it’s gonna be my first time wearing white.”
As for when that will happen, Page Six reports that Katy and Orlando plan to get married in June, and would like to do it in Japan. However, the coronavirus outbreak might prevent that from happening.
