The Masked Singer returned on Wednesday night for the Season 10 premiere, as five contestants took the stage for their first performances. At the end of the night, Rubber Ducky was unmasked as Black-ish star Anthony Anderson.
Contestants Impress in The Masked Singer Season 10 Premiere
The first contestant to take the stage during the premiere was Gazelle, who teased that they “crashed and burned” during a talent competition as a teen. You’d never know it from their powerhouse performance of “Uninvited” by Alanis Morissette. Guesses from the panel about Gazelle’s identity included Camila Mendes, Lucy Hale, and Vanessa Hudgens.
Later, S’More teased that they rocketed to fame and reached “major heartthrob status.” They performed “Slow Hands” by Niall Horan, showing off an impressive voice. Guesses from the panel included Joey McIntyre, Justin Guarini, and Kevin Richardson.
Cow surprised the panel with their performance, as they realized it could be a man under the feminine costume. They teased that they had won Grammys before singing “Bones” by Imagine Dragons. Guesses included Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men and Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr.

Rubber Ducky Unmasked as Anthony Anderson
The weakest performances from Wednesday’s episode came from Diver and Rubber Ducky. First, Diver teased that they’re “everyone’s favorite person to hate” before showing off their falsetto on “Any Way You Want It” by Journey.
Guesses about Diver’s identity included Adam Levine and Scott Disick. Ken Jeong guessed that it could be Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval. The audience booed him, but Sandoval’s recent public appearance lends credence to the theory.
Ultimately, Rubber Ducky was eliminated and unmasked after a performance of “Come On Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners and Kevin Rowland. Guesses from the panel included David Arquette and Jaleel White, but only Jeong correctly guessed that it was Anthony Anderson.
Could this be the season Jeong finally starts guessing correctly? We’ll have to wait and see. What did you think of this week’s show? Do you have any guesses about the contestants we’ve met so far? Let us know in the comments below.
