The Jonas Brothers have announced that they will not be playing at the upcoming iHeartRadio Power 96.1 Jingle Ball. They are taking safety precautions after one of their production crew members tested positive for Covid-19. None of the Jonas Brothers have tested positive, but they are taking precautions to stop the spread.
The Jonas Brothers have not sat still since performing live again. When pandemic numbers began going down, they embarked on an outdoor summer tour. This tour required all audience members had to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test.
Since then, The Jonas Brothers have begun sharing videos from the tour, as well as sharing more concert dates. They were performing apart of iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball tour until the recent outbreak case.
The Jonas Brothers Withdraw from iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Atlanta
Amid their busy time, they are now on a pause to ensure they and their crew members do not spread the virus. One of their production crew members tested positive, which means they were directly exposed to them. As of right now, The Jonas Brothers have not yet tested positive themselves. Instead, they are most likely getting tested and quarantining to decide what their next move is.
Before this, the group was performing at iHeartRadio’s Power 96.1 Jingle Ball in Atlanta, Georgia.
“We are extremely disappointed that we can’t be there with our fans in Atlanta,” The Jonas Brothers wrote. “Hopefully you will watch our performance on Dec. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT when the CW Network re-airs the jingle ball special.”
The iHeartRadio special features some of the best performances from the stops on the tour. This tour also includes Ed Sheeran, BTS, Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, Saweetie, AJR, and others. Before The Jonas Brothers brief pause, they had already performed at Boston’s Kiss 108 Jingle Ball, as well as New York City’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden.
Yesterday, iHeartRadio had shared a clip of the brothers performing to gain hype for their upcoming show and television special. This morning, the radio broadcast company reshared The Jonas Brothers announcement to their own Instagram story.
“Stay safe, we love you guys,” iHeartRadio wrote.
Following the iHeartRadio jingle ball tour, The Jonas Brothers are performing two shows in Mexico. They will be performing at Arena CDMX and Arena Monterrey in late February.
