Fans React to AGT‘s Mother-Son Danger Act
When Wold and his mom took the stage, you might have been expecting a sweet family act. So it probably shocked you when Wold set himself on fire and threw flaming knives at his own mother.
According to The Sun, some commenters on AGT‘s Instagram objected to the intense routine, with one user writing, “I liked but at the same time I didn’t cause I was so scared for the mom. She looked like she kept saying don’t hit me.”
Another user reportedly commented, “I was scared by this let alone any kids that were watching.” Someone else wrote that the act “creeped me out.” Another user agreed with judge Howie Mandel, who buzzed the act and voted “no” to sending them through.
However, others enjoyed the performance. That includes AGT alums Deadly Games, who commented, “Omg that was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.”

Fans Criticize Howie Mandel for Buzzing the Act
Some fans on YouTube took issue with Wold’s act for a different reason, in that they believed it was dangerous for Mandel to hit his red buzzer during such a risky performance. They argued that the sudden noise could have caused an accident.
“Judges should never ever press the buzzer during the performance of a dangerous act,” wrote one commenter. Another wrote, “Why did he press the buzzer? That would interfere with their concentration and they could easily make a mistake that could be avoided.”
