Does Simon Cowell Want to Replace Bruno Tonioli on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’?

Is Simon Cowell thinking of replacing Bruno Tonioli as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent? Some fans seem to want this season’s guest judge KSI to join the show’s panel on a permanent basis, and a source says Cowell is considering it.
Could Simon Cowell Fire Bruno Tonioli from Britain’s Got Talent?
Bruno Tonioli is currently in his third season as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent. This season, he had to miss some of the auditions and was replaced by guest judge KSI. According to Closer, some fans have expressed their preference for KSI over Tonioli.
As one BGT viewer reportedly wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Anyone want Bruno replaced with KSI permanently or is it just me? Bloke does my absolute head in.” Another fan reportedly commented that they were “hoping Simon would have fired Bruno and brought in KSI for the remaining live shows.”
Cowell might actually be considering a change in the show’s panel, with a source telling Closer, “Bruno’s currently in his third year as a judge, but there are already rumors that Simon is growing a bit fed up with his antics and recently summoned him to his house in the Cotswolds for a meeting.”
The insider added that Cowell is “keen to get KSI signed on for next year’s series.” Cowell himself would presumably remain on the panel, along with longtime judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.

Tonioli Brings a Chaotic Energy to the Show
Tonioli, who is best known for judging the celebrity dance competitions Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars, joined Britain’s Got Talent in 2023, replacing longtime judge David Walliams. He immediately brought an unpredictable energy to the show.
The judge played fast and loose with the Golden Buzzer rules, pressing it for one act while they were still performing. He later hit a second Golden Buzzer despite only being allowed one. Then last season, he actually broke the Golden Buzzer when hitting it for a dance group.
Tonioli even let out a few curse words during the live shows in 2023. He was reprimanded by the show’s hosts Ant & Dec and later apologized to viewers at home. The judge is known for his passionate reactions to the performances, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
