“I don’t know. It wasn’t like the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ or anything, was it?” Clarkson asked Seal.
Seal effortlessly gave up on remembering though, nevertheless saying that their performance was “good fun.” For those who are curious, the two performed the U.S. National Anthem at the Indy 500. They were accompanied by legendary musician David Foster in piano.
“It was memorable for both of us we can’t remember what we sang,” Clarkson said. “It was so long ago, I mean, like, probably 2004 or 2005.”
Subsequently, Clarkson told Seal that she feels honored to sing with him. As stated by the pop star, Seal possesses a “tone that everybody recognizes right off the bat.”
