Viral TikToks, Memes and Tweets
TikTok user @jeremycohen and his drone captured this modern-day quarantine love story. We’re definitely rooting for them.
This dog certainly knows how to party. Hopefully, @goodboymulligan gets all the snacks he deserves.
As we mentioned in yesterday’s recap, Rapunzel was locked away in a tower for 18 years and certainly made good use of her time. TikTok user @marioisaguy and his siblings took the infamous song from the Disney movie Rapunzel and turned it into a modern-day anthem of wishing they could leave their houses during this quarantine. And let’s just say their floors are definitely spotless.
TikTok user @ward_up did not shy away from exposing his brother’s new quarantine habit, literally being too lazy to lift his phone up to his face. Who else can relate?
Anybody else watching Youtube videos in bed like these two cozy #QuarantineCats?
Those cats seem super well-behaved, but this one might not approve of your book choices.
When you’re trying to read but someone is wanting attention by being rude..I bet he didn’t even wash his paw before touching my book #QuaratineLifepic.twitter.com/XX9xHjV7DS
If you are social distancing or bored at home, you can take a virtual tour of the Palace of Versailles. It’s literally like going to France without actually ever leaving your bed.
Binge-Worthy Shows To Watch While Being Self-Quarantined
Netflix recently released the show I Am Not Okay with This featuring breakout star from the movie It Sophia Lillis. It is a coming of age comedy with a ton of drama and it’s even based on a comic book. We highly recommend this show to binge. Speaking of drama, Netflix recently released season two of All American. If you are a sports fan, you’ll definitely fall in love with this show.
Over on HBO GO, True Detective is definitely worth binge-watching. Season three stars Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali who puts his detective skills to the test to solve a crime involving two missing children. It’s a nail-biter for sure, but it received rave reviews from critics and fans can’t get enough of the amazing acting.
Good News About Coronavirus
Singer Rihanna’s charity The Clara Lionel Foundation has donated $5 million in grants to global health organizations to provide them with medical equipment, supplies and food during this pandemic. This will help aid vulnerable regions that do not have access to such resources in a time where they need it the most. This donation will provide quicker and more accessible testing methods for countries like Haiti and Malawi.
Singer Justin Timberlake also announced that he would be donating to Mid-South Foodbank which would provide non-perishable food to families. This would allow people to stay home and not have to go out for groceries. He is right when he says that “Every. Little. Thing. Helps.”
If you’re looking for something else to do during your quarantine, you could help Jon Bon Jovi finish his song. He posted an Instagram video singing a verse to a song he wrote. Bon Jovi encouraged fans to write the next verse of the song and to tell their stories with the lyrics they write.
