Meet Kid Magician Aidan McCann, ‘Ireland’s Got Talent’, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Standout
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Little magician Aidan McCann has fascinated Britain’s Got Talent stage back in 2020, when he effortlessly predicted David Walliams’s thoughts. Now, he’s returning in the television screen for the upcoming AGT All-Stars to trick us once more with his magic. Let’s get to know him more.
Aidan McCann was a Standout in Ireland’s Got Talent
Hailing from County Kildare, Ireland, Aidan McCann started learning magic by himself at the young age of seven. This kid made the most out of the gifts he received and even for the time to teach his mom Noella magic.
Some people recognize him as the mini magician who proclaimed himself capable of reading judge David Walliams’s mind. However, McCann is already a household name in Ireland before he appeared in BGT season 14. Back when he was nine years old, he took part in Ireland’s Got Talent and reached the Semifinals.
His audition on BGT consisted of making judge Alesha Dixon’s ring disappear and giving Simon Cowell a watch where the ring was hidden. Subsequently, he tricked everyone when he made the ring vanish once again and made it appear attached to his shoelace. He pushed through the competition until the Finals by his perfectly executed magic with Walliams.
Aidan Has Performed Magic In Front of Several Hollywood Stars
McCann also appeared in The Ellen DeGeneres Show which eventually allowed him to showcase magic through Aidan’s Magic Corner. With this team up, he’s not only fascinated regular viewers but A-list celebrities such as stars Colin Farrell, Emily Blunt and the Jonas Brothers.
In 2019, McCann travelled to Sin City to do magic with Shin Lim in his stage show Limitless. This performance has made him the youngest magician to ever perform in a Las Vegas show.
Apart from these milestones, McCann recorded NBC’s Little Big Shots with Melissa McCarthy in early 2020 and made an appearance on BBC’s Blue Peter.
He’s Now Gearing Up for AGT All-Stars
At present, McCann is set to capture the hearts of Got Talent fans once again. This time, in AGT All-Stars. According to his personal website, he is “hugely excited” to be among the 60 talent acts to join the first ever season of the AGT spin-off.
Now that Walliams stepped down as judge of the competition show, we’re yet to see which judge McCann will choose to establish a connection with. With the additional experience he has gained since BGT, fans, we can only wonder what amazing things he could do.
To witness Aidan McCann’s performance on AGT All-Stars, be sure to tune in this January.
