Sources told TMZ that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have been living apart “since the beginning of summer,” adding that Kidman has been taking care of the couple’s two daughters and “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.”
According to the outlet, Kidman did not want to separate and has been trying to save her marriage to Urban. A source shared that Urban “has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home.”
The couple tied the knot in 2006 and celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary in June of this year. They share daughters Sunday and Faith, aged 17 and 14. Kidman also shares two children with her ex-husband, fellow actor Tom Cruise.
To mark their anniversary this year, Kidman posted a black-and-white photo of herself and Urban embracing on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Happy Anniversary Baby.” The pair has been busy with work in recent months, as Kidman wrapped Practical Magic 2 in London and while Urban is on tour.
