‘The Masked Singer’ Sing-Along Spectacular Recap: Join the Fun!
Reading Time: 5 minutes
The Masked Singer is bringing the show into our own living rooms this week, giving viewers the opportunity to sing-along with the season’s most popular performances! So get your vocal warm-up in because this will be an hour of karaoke fun!
Here’s what happened on The Masked Singer Sing-Along Spectacular, as well as a few new clues for the remaining contestants.
Turtle Sing-Along and Clues
The previous clues Turtle showed off were a surfboard, a can of pop, and a “Shellboy” comic book. That led the judges to guess he might be Zac Efron, Nick Lachey, Adam Lambert, or Joey McIntyre. He again mentions a “boy band” after all those predictions. We also see him with a black baseball bat.
To kick off the sing-along, Turtle sang “Kiss From a Rose” by Seal then later, “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” by Shawn Mendes. He has probably the most solid and consistent vocals in the entire competition. Turtle is easily my favorite to win and watching these performances again just reaffirmed that!

Banana Sing-Along and Clues
For his previous clues, we saw a blowfish, a blue dog collar, and a “super sexy mullet.” The panel has guessed he’s Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Bret Michaels. In his new clue packages, Banana rides in on a little cart that says “STOCK SCENERY” and “42” on it. He has a poster with the Skeleton from Season 2 in his dressing room. Banana then does the limbo! To finish his clues, he makes a heart with his hands.
Banana took the stage next, with a repeat performance of “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynyrd Skynyrd and later “Lean on Me” by Bill Withers. He is a good singer, but not at the top of the pack here. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is the one to go home next week. He’s still entertaining to watch though!
Kitty Sing-Along and Clues
Kitty’s former clues have included dueling pirates, a red-hooded cape, and a Christmas tree. Some of the panel’s predictions have been Sarah Hyland, Vanessa Hudgens, Nicole Richie, and Amanda Seyfried. Kitty said she’s had a “ball breaking out of [her] regular old litter box.” She now embodies a confident, sassy attitude. We see her doing the can-can with the men in black. Kitty also mentions that Celine Dion is one of her favorite artists.
One of the strongest singers since the beginning of the season, the Kitty performed “Dangerous Woman” by Ariana Grande and “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” by Celine Dion. She has such a strong voice! I’d even say she’s probably the strongest woman left in the competition. I love the energy and sass she brings to her performances too.

Frog Sing-Along and Clues
Frog alluded to his old clues of a knight, hush puppies, and toy soldiers. The judges have guessed he’s Omarion, Ray J, Kevin Hart, and Alfonso Ribeiro. But in his Sing-Along clues, he said he had “butterflies in his stomach” in the first performance. He also mentioned that he practices all his songs until they’re an “A++!” Frog claims he’s been singing “Jump” since he was “a tadpole.”
For his sing-along, the Frog performed “U Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer and “Jump” by Kris Kross. These performances are always so lively and upbeat! It’s no surprise he says there’s a lot of sweat when he practices and gets on the stage. Frog is definitely the most energetic of the contestants left at this point.

Astronaut Sing-Along and Clues
The Astronaut’s past clues have included a pair of dice, a broken vinyl record, and a constellation flag. The judges’ guesses have ranged from Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Adam Devine to Lance Bass and Ryan Tedder. He says he’s a “pretty down-to-Earth” astronaut. We see another arrow pointing left, as we have before. Astronaut again shares that he’s friends with Stevie Wonder and we see balloons floating around him.
Astronaut decided to replay his performances of “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder. He knows how to work the stage! But personally, I was surprised (and disappointed) that his “You Say” performance wasn’t on the Sing-Along! It’s definitely his most iconic, in my opinion.
Night Angel Sing-Along and New Clues
The Night Angel brings up her previous clues, a bumblebee and crown, a lipstick heart, and a tricycle. The judges thought she’s Lil’ Kim, Toni Braxton, Taraji P. Henson, and KeKe Palmer. Now, she says she’s “constantly on the go.” When she practices at home, she wears a ski mask and turns off the lights.
The only other female competition left, Night Angel, brought back her performances of “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” by Shania Twain and “Shout” by The Isley Brothers. Both were so fun! Night Angel has a great energy about her and a solid voice to boot.
Rhino Sing-Along and New Clues
The Rhino’s old clues include a diamond ring, the Grand Ole Opry, and a “FAITH” sign. From those, the judges have guessed Tim Tebow, Ryan Lochte, Tim McGraw, and Jason Aldean. The Rhino said the massive mask has given him “some massive headaches.” He looks like a tough rhino, but he has a “gentle, soft side” too. At the end, we see the men in black cleaning off his mask and horn.

Throughout the night, Rhino sang “Nice To Meet Ya” by Niall Horan and “Tracks of My Tears” by Linda Ronstadt. These were his best performances in my opinion so I was excited to watch them again and sing along! Rhino isn’t the most consistent but when he’s good, he’s really good.
