Go-Big Show Season 2 returned for the finale on Thursday night, as bull jumper Manu Lataste, aka the “Flying Frenchman,” was named the winner with the show’s first perfect score. He beat runner-up Professor Splash, who earned a score of 99.
Manu Lataste Named ‘Go-Big Show’ Season 2 Winner
Sixty-year-old diver Professor Splash beat fellow finalists James Carter and Annaliese Nock with a score of 99 (the highest on the series so far), putting him in the lead before Manu’s finale performance. He had to earn a perfect score of 100 in order to win the show, and he did it.
Manu takes bullfighting to a whole new level by literally leaping over charging bulls. During Thursday’s show, he went bigger than ever, staring with a trick that involved standing on a chair and jumping backwards over the bull just before it ran into him.
The judges nervously held hands through Manu’s performance, which only got crazier from there. He proceeded to taunt the bull in order to draw it over, then leaped out of the way. One move didn’t go quite as expected, and Manu appeared to hurt himself. However, he refused to quit.

Manu Earns Perfect Score of 100 from the Judges
The judges, as well as host Bert Kreischer, couldn’t believe that Manu got back into the pen to continue his act even though he was visibly in pain. He performed an incredible flip in mid-air as the bull ran under him. Judge T-Pain summed it up by saying, “What’s going on?!”
Manu was emotional after the performance, saying that he lives by the adage that “when you fall off the horse, you come back.” The judges were blown away, with T-Pain pointing out how unpredictable his act is, and Jennifer Nettles saying she was “honored to have been witness” to his talent.
When it came time to score Manu, the judges gave him a perfect score of 100. Even last year’s winner, Tomas Garcilazo, only had a final score of 97. Manu walked away with the $100,000 prize as the Go-Big Show Season 2 winner.
