Kelly Clarkson Celebrates One Year of Her Album ‘Chemistry’

Former The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson is celebrating one year of her latest album Chemistry. Over the weekend, the singer shared a video on social media paying tribute to the album’s production and promotion.
Kelly Clarkson Celebrates One Year of Album Chemistry
The video Clarkson shared on social media starts with a brief clip of the singer in the studio recording the song “Mine” off her album Chemistry — which was released on June 23, 2023. The next clips are set to the song “Me.”
We see Clarkson as she was promoting the album in New York City, and then when she performed flash mobs in both New York and Los Angeles. The video also features clips from Clarkson’s one-night-only birthday concert at the Belasco in L.A.
Clarkson can be seen performing her song “Favorite Kind of High” for the crowd. The video then shows Clarkson preparing for her 10-night run of shows in Las Vegas. The end of the clip features the message, “Thank you for making it a year I’ll never forget!”

Clarkson Is Busy with Her Talk Show
A year after releasing her 10th studio album, Clarkson is focusing on her role as an Emmy-winning talk show host. The Kelly Clarkson Show has been renewed through 2025. The show is currently in its fifth season.
Clarkson recently commented on whether she’s interested in taking Katy Perry’s spot at the American Idol judging table next season. The singer said she wouldn’t want to be a judge on the show, because it films in L.A., while her talk show shoots in New York.
“No. No. I can’t do that, only because I promised my kids. I was like, ‘I wanna be there as much as I possibly can,’” Clarkson explained. “And it would put me in L.A., and that’s why I had to quit The Voice, which I love that team. And I miss them so much.”
