The Kelly Clarkson Show recently won big at the Daytime Emmys, as Clarkson herself took home the award for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host. The show also earned the award for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series.
The Kelly Clarkson Show Wins 2023 Daytime Emmys
Billboard points out that this year, both “informative” and “entertainment” shows were grouped together in the categories for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host. Despite this change, The Kelly Clarkson Show still took home both awards.
This is Clarkson’s fourth win for hosting her talk show. It’s also the third year in a row that the show itself has won. This year, the show beat fellow nominees The Drew Barrymore Show, Live With Kelly and Ryan, Today With Hoda and Jenna, and The Jennifer Hudson Show.
The ceremony was held on Friday after being delayed six months due to the Hollywood strikes. Clarkson wasn’t present to accept the awards, but she shared her appreciation in an Instagram post, writing that she’s “so proud of my whole team for our wins tonight.”
“We are beyond blessed, and grateful, and so thankful for our new family and friends at 30 Rock who have been so supportive of our new home,” Clarkson wrote to finish the message, referring to the show’s move to New York City.
