Kelly Clarkson Admits That She’s Nervous for Upcoming Release of ‘Chemistry’

Global pop star Kelly Clarkson recently revealed that she is nervous to release her forthcoming album, Chemistry. The singer has also announced her approaching shows this summer.

Sitting down for an interview with On-Air With Ryan Seacrest, Clarkson went candid about the looming release of her music collection. Named Chemistry, the “Breakaway” singer stated that she’s feeling jitters with this new project.
“I’m more nervous on a personal level with everyone in my world,” she said. “I’ve always written with a vulnerable heart, so I’m very open. So I’m not nervous about that. I think I’m just more nervous on a personal note because it’s one of those things where I’m going to have to keep talking about it and keep performing.”
Clarkson also discussed some details about the title Chemistry, saying that she’s chosen that word to encapsulate every phase in a relationship. Hence, while such album is coined as her divorce album, such is not the only aspect that can be derived from the collection.
“I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing because I didn’t want everybody to think I was just coming out with some just like, ‘I’m angry. I’m sad.’ Just one or two emotions.”
According to the singer, a whole relationship shouldn’t be just brought down to one thing. Clarkson then explained that she’s explored “the good, the bad, and the ugly” parts of a relationship as she was creating Chemistry.
She Announces Upcoming Shows This Summer
Last March 27, Clarkson revealed that she will be performing 10 shows in Las Vegas, Nevada during summer of 2023.
“It’s happening, y’all!,” she wrote. “I’m so excited to announce that I’m finally heading to Las Vegas for 10 shows this summer! I’ll be singing all of your favorites… and yes, I’ll be singing some new ones, too!”
In another Instagram post, her Las Vegas engagement will be an “intimate” line. The singer also expressed her excitement for these upcoming shows. Tickets for these events are already available for purchase at Ticketmaster.
