Katy Perry And Taylor Swift Put Their Feud To Rest And Tease A Possible Collaboration
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Well, it looks like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have finally settled their long-running feud. The pop stars have long been rumored to be at odds, with the disagreement apparently starting over a dispute about backup dancers. Taylor’s song “Bad Blood” is believed to be about Katy.
Katy even seemed to throw subtle shade at Taylor on American Idol last year, saying she likes Swift “as a songwriter” after fellow judge Luke Bryan listed her as a musical influence. However, things seem a lot friendlier between the pair these days.
Taylor Swift Offers Katy Perry Cookies
Katy posted an Instagram photo showing a plate of chocolate chip cookies with the phrase “PEACE AT LAST” drawn on the plate in red icing, accompanied by two peace signs. She captioned the image “feels good” and tagged Taylor’s account. She also set the photo’s location to “Let’s Be Friends.”
According to People, some fans took this as a clue that Katy and Taylor would be soon be collaborating on a song with this title. Taylor also apparently commented on the post with 13 heart emojis (13 is her lucky number).
Eagle-eyed fans have even noted that Katy’s photo seems to have been taken at Taylor’s house, suggesting they’re hanging out together.
We can confirm Katy took this photo at Taylor’s house because the marble countertop is the same as Todrick’s pic but Katy’s tweet location is Mexico. So either this is old & she purposefully posted this today because a collab is coming imminently or Taylor has a house in Mexico pic.twitter.com/F3wyCMWZhK

Taylor And Katy Support Each Other
People also points out that this isn’t the first time the singers have shown support for each other in recent months. In March, Katy said she was “open” to the possibility of collaborating with Taylor. Last year, she even sent a literal olive branch and apology letter to Taylor before her Reputation tour.
Taylor, meanwhile, recently added Katy’s new song “Never Really Over” to her “ME!” playlist on Apple.
If the pop stars have really made up, maybe we can expect a Taylor appearance on American Idol next season. She performed on The Voice finale this season, but who’s to say she won’t cross over to the competition and mentor the contestants? Beyond that, maybe she’ll be invited to Katy’s upcoming wedding to Orlando Bloom.
