JoJo Siwa Reveals She Braided Tom Sandoval’s Hair Everyday for ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test’

Apparently, JoJo Siwa is not only a recruit for Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test; she’s also a hair stylist. The Dance Mom alum recently revealed that she’s the person braiding Tom Sandoval’s hair on the show.
JoJo Siwa Braided Tom Sandoval’s Hair for Special Forces
In a recent Instagram Story, Siwa reposted a Story post of a fan asking multiple questions about Special Forces. One curious question mentioned Sandoval and asked if he’s the one braiding his hair. The Dancing With The Stars alum chimed in, revealing that she served as Sandoval’s hairdresser on the show.
“I braided Tom’s hair for him everyday,” she wrote.
In the same repost, Siwa also addressed a fan’s compliment about her disposition in the competition.
“@itsjojosiwa why are you so [unfazed] by all of this?! You beast,” the fan wrote.
She then responded, “I was very [fazed] just tried to keep my energy happy to keep everyone else happy.”
It’s no secret that Siwa had a bumpy start on Special Forces season two. During the premiere, the 20-year-old got reprimanded for not being serious enough on the show. Weeks back, Siwa confessed that she’s never really been “able to do something dangerous” until Special Forces. Beginning her first television show when she was nine, Siwa considers herself a “kid for a long time.”
“I think this is the furthest thing from a kid thing that you can do,” she said. “My No. 1 in life is to just try to make other people laugh, smile, be happy.”
Now, she promises to set her vivacious personality aside and unleash a tougher and more mature attitude. Admitting that it’s “not easy,” Siwa is nonetheless game to challenge herself.
She Fights Olympian Erin Jackson in Intense Punching Match
During the October 16 episode of Special Forces, viewers saw how the Dance Moms alum released her fighting spirit as she went head-to-head against Erin Jackson in boxing match.
“I train boxing, but I don’t ever wanna have to use it,” Siwa said. “But it’s there in case I need it.”
For the match, Siwa ditched her ponytail and giant bow and let her hair down. Additionally, she took precaution by wearing a protective helmet and mouth guard.
The fight began with Siwa giving Jackson a good amount of blows. The TikToker obviously had the upper hand at first. However, Jackson didn’t allow the match to finish without proving her grit. She’s defended herself from Siwa’s punches and managed to strike her in the back of the head.
“It’s all fun and games till someone breaks their face. Monday night you’ll see what we went through on day 4 of special forces… it was a brutal, exhausting day. By far the hardest day, physically, and mentally in my life,” she wrote on Instagram.
