Joe Jonas Dedicates Emotional Song to Parents Amid Custody Battle with Sophie Turner

Amid ongoing legal battle with estranged wife Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas is paying tribute to fellow parents. This happened when the Jonas Brothers recently performed “Little Bird,” a track which they originally created for their kids.
Joe Jonas Gives Shout Out to Parents in Concert Amid Custody Battle
Last Thursday, September 21, the Jonas Brothers member graced the stage of Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for their Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour. Ahead of their “Little Bird” performance, Jonas took a moment to send a special message to parents.
“This next one is all about being a parent,” he said.
Later, he wished a genuine “good luck” to soon-to-be parents. After they belted out the sing, Nick and Kevin each gave Joe a hug and then performed “Celebrate” next.
Jonas’ straight and simple message comes amid his complicated custody battle against the Game of Thrones alum. For those who may not know, Turner sued Jonas for alleged abduction of their two kids, three-year-old Willa and a 14-month-old daughter. According to the documents obtained by PEOPLE, Jonas allegedly stated that he will not give the children back to their mother.
“Based on the Father’s express statements that he will not return the children to England and will not return the children’s passports to the Mother, on September 20, 2023, the Mother has submitted her Hague Convention Application for Return to the Central Authority for England & Wales seeking the return of the children to England,” the statement reads.
While Jonas was busy with the tour, Turner was spotted shaving dinner with a friend at Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York. The actress has also resumed work on her forthcoming ITVX series Joan.
He Denies Abduct His, Turner’s Children
After Turner’s bombshell lawsuit, Jonas quickly fired back at her claims and denied her accusations. As per his rep, the band member called the lawsuit a “harsh legal position” that goes against the “amicable co-parenting setup” he believed they have agreed upon.
Less than 24 hours later, Sophie advised that she wanted to take the children permanently to the UK. Thereafter, she demanded via this filing that Joe hand over the children’s passports so that she could take them out of the country immediately,” the rep said.
Additionally, the rep stated that Jonas is seeking shared parenting with the kids. Nothing that the children are US citizens by birth, Jonas wanted their daughters to grow in both US and UK.
The singer also took the time to deny Turner’s claims that she found out the divorce through the media. According to him, the actress was “aware” that he has decided to divorce as they have had “multiple conversations.”
“This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending,” his rep stated. “When language like ‘abduction’ is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst.”
