While Banks’s role on Dancing with the Stars has been controversial, she stays in the show’s role. After modeling for several years, Banks continued her career on television. Her first TV appearance began on the fourth season of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, where she played Will Smith’s old friend.
Later, she appeared on Felicity, All That, MADtv, Wild ‘N Out, and The Price is Right. Soon after, she created a production company, named “Ty Ty Baby Productions.” The company was later renamed to “Bankable Productions.” Bankable Productions produced The Tyra Banks Show, America’s Next Top Model and the 2008 movie, The Clique.
In 2017, Banks became the host of America’s Got Talent. Three years later, Banks joined the cast of Dancing With the Stars as the host.
