Rider & Bethany vs. Wesley Williams
The first match-up of the night was between a trick roping duo and a high jumper. Rider and Bethany performed a routine involving gun and rope tricks. Snoop Dogg loved it as a fan of Western movies.
Then Wesley showed off some incredible leaps. He jumped over a car and a vending machine, and Rosario Dawson volunteered to let him jump over her — standing up! Cody Rhodes said the act seemed “incomplete.” The judges gave Rider & Bethany a score of 96, and Wesley a score of 71, meaning Rider & Bethany moved on.
Reckless Ben vs. Bill Dixon
The next match-up was between an extreme slackliner and a stunt rider. Ben performed flips over a pile of mouse traps. Then he shocked the judges by taking his clothes off on the line and purposely falling on the traps! Rosario called it “awesome.”
Then Bill performed several motorcycle tricks in which he stood up and turned around while riding. He then came out on a bike that rolled over completely. Rosario said it looked like he was having fun. The judges gave Ben a score of 93, and Bill a score of 89, meaning Ben moved on.
Amina the Great vs. Leonid the Magnificent
The last match-up of the night was between a strongwoman and a performance artist. Amina started off by bending a frying pan with her bare hands. Then she balanced four men at one time. Amina teared up talking about how much her mom meant to her.
Then Leonid performed a trick where he balanced two swords on top of each other with his mouth and then moved one of them onto his head. Rosario said she loved the “mystery” involved in the performance. The judges gave Amina a score of 79, and Leonid a score of 85, meaning Leonid moved on.
The contestants who moved on in tonight’s episode will return for the semifinals. Go-Big Show will be back at the same time next week for even more intense performances.
