American Idol alum Gabby Barrett has been nominated twice for the upcoming Country Music Television Awards this year. On Instagram, the singer has humbly asked for support from her beloved fans.

As a consequence of the success of her 2021 single “Pick Me Up,” Gabby Barrett holds on to the possibility of getting two trophies in the event. Particularly, the country star has sealed nominations for Video of the Year award and Female Video of the Year award. Barrett consequently took her delight to Instagram, reflecting on the said milestone.
“Pumped to find out that ‘Pick Me Up’ is nominated in two categories at the 2023 #CMTawards for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year!!!” she wrote.
For those who may not know, “Pick Me Up” is one of the tracks from the expanded version of her acclaimed debut album, Goldmine (Deluxe). In 2022, she dropped the official music video of the song, garnering almost six million views since its release.
She Released a Song Collab with Colton Dixon
Back in late January, Barrett released her music collaboration with fellow American Idol alum Colton Dixon. Titled “Build A Boat,” the song is an energetic and encouraging piece to hear.
“You killed this! Honored to have you,” said Dixon in the comments.
Furthermore, fans can’t help but to praise the two for doing such incredible work. According to one fan, the duo should start exploring the Christian music more.
“I absolutely ADORE this song and now I REALLY love it,” one person wrote.
The 2023 CMT Music Awards will broadcast live from Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini are in charge as hosts. The event will air live on Monday, April 2 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show will also be available to stream live and on-demand Paramount+.
