Ellen DeGeneres took to Instagram to commemorate the 41st birthday of her dear friend, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, who tragically passed away by suicide last December. The heartfelt tribute, accompanied by a cheerful selfie of the two on a private plane, encapsulates the bond they shared.

Ellen DeGeneres Makes a Heartfelt Instagram Post Dedicated to tWitch

“Happy birthday, tWitch. I love you and I always will,” DeGeneres captioned the photo. It was a simple yet profound expression of her affection for the DJ and choreographer. For those who may not remember, Boss had been an integral part of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, serving as its DJ and producer.

Earlier on the same day, Allison Holker, tWitch’s wife, also paid tribute to her late husband. She visited his gravesite with their three children, and then shared her heartfelt emotions on Instagram. In her touching post, she spoke of Boss’ enduring presence in their lives and the cherished moments they had shared.

Boss and Holker had a beautiful love story that began in 2010 when they appeared as all-stars on season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance. Their love blossomed, leading to a joyful wedding ceremony in Paso Robles, California, in 2013. Together, they raised three children: son Maddox and daughters Zaia and Weslie, who was Holker’s child from a previous relationship.

After Boss’ untimely passing, Holker then opened up about her husband’s incredible qualities. She described him as someone who lit up every room with his presence, emphasizing his devotion to family, friends, and the community. Boss was a loving husband and father, an inspiration to his fans, and the backbone of their family. Holker expressed the profound impact Boss had on their lives, also vowing that they would honor his memory every day.

Ellen DeGeneres Was One of The Firsts To Post About tWitch’s Death

In the wake of Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s tragic passing, DeGeneres, one of the closest individuals to the late DJ and choreographer, took to social media to share her profound grief with the world. The heartfelt message she posted, along with a poignant photograph of herself and tWitch sharing a warm embrace, was a testament to the deep bond they shared.

With a heavy heart, DeGeneres began her post by expressing the overwhelming sadness she felt: “I’m heartbroken.” Her words resonated with the countless fans and friends who had also been deeply affected by the loss of a beloved figure known for his infectious energy and positivity.

DeGeneres continued by describing tWitch in the most fitting terms: “tWitch was pure love and light.” These simple yet powerful words captured the essence of a man who had touched the lives of many with both his kindness and radiance.
