Demi Lovato has released a new rock version of their hit song “Confident,” off their upcoming album Revamped. The cool new project, out September 15, puts a rock twist on several of the singer’s most popular songs.

Demi Lovato Releases Rock Version of ‘Confident’

So far, Lovato has released rock versions of her songs “Heart Attack,” “Sorry Not Sorry,” and “Cool for the Summer.” The newest release is the song “Confident,” which appeared on the singer’s 2015 album of the same name.

Just like the original, this version of the track features fierce vocals from Lovato, with heavier drums and guitar in the background. The official lyric video includes shots of the singer posing in some edgy outfits, with grungy hair and makeup.

“I changed the melody a little bit in certain spots and then try to hit higher notes than the originals,” Lovato told Rolling Stone of their process for re-recording some of their biggest hits.

Fans definitely noticed those high notes on “Confident,” with one YouTube user commenting on the lyric video, “This has to be the highest note we’ve ever heard her hit in a song isn’t it??? that’s INSANE.”
