‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pro Witney Carson Gives Birth To First Child

Dancing With The Stars pro Witney Carson just welcomed her first child with her husband Carson McAllister. The 27-year-old went into labor on Sunday before announcing the arrival of her bundle of joy today.
Witney Carson Gave Birth To First Child
Witney’s baby boy had his head facing downwards and she planned to be induced at 39 weeks. She previously said she was “excited and terrified all at the same time” as she waited to give birth. The dancer made it clear that she was trying to avoid having a C-Section. “Carson was born three weeks early and at nine pounds, so he was a really big boy and I just don’t want the risk of having a C-section,” she said in an Instagram video.
Before the baby arrived, Witney kept her fans updated on her labor in her Instagram stories. She said that she got an epidural and was “feeling great.” She also shouted out her husband for being so supportive throughout the entire process.

Much to her dismay, Witney ultimately did end up having a C-Section which she revealed in an Instagram post. “After a really hard 24-hour labor, and an unexpected c-section… we are all healthy and well. We are so grateful & we’ve been soaking up every moment with our perfect angel boy. Thank you for all the prayers!” she wrote. This was accompanied by a black and white photo of Witney, Carson and the baby’s hands all holding on to each other.
Witney Gushed About Becoming A First-Time Mom
Witney first announced her pregnancy news in July. “We can’t even contain our excitement and joy right now” she captioned her Instagram photo holding up her sonogram and a pregnancy test. The post received a lot of love in the comments section with tons of fans and friends wishing the couple a big congratulations. The couple first met when they were children and always had a deep connection. They dated long distance for a few years before tying the knot in 2016.
She had a stylish “drive by” baby shower in November. She posed with a gorgeous balloon display in a set of Instagram photos. One special guest at the baby shower was Witney’s fellow Dancing With The Stars pro and bestie Lindsay Arnold. Lindsay just welcomed a baby girl, Sage in November.

“She’s been so great! Literally, I’ve called her pretty much every other day to talk about pregnancy and the concerns I have,” Witney said about new mom Lindsay. “She always knows what to say and has the best advice!” Both Witney and Lindsay were absent from the most recent season of Dancing With The Stars due to their pregnancies. However, they still cheered everyone on as they watched the show at home.
