Christina Aguilera, Snoop Dogg Record Songs for ‘Addams Family 2’ Soundtrack
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Former The Voice coach Christina Aguilera, as well as Go-Big Show judge Snoop Dogg, have new songs out just in time for the spooky season. The tracks are featured on the official soundtrack for the new animated movie The Addams Family 2.
The movie and its soundtrack are both out now. Aguilera performs the iconic theme song, while Snoop offers his voice to a new song performed by Cousin IT.
Christina Aguilera Performs ‘Addams Family’ Theme Song
Aguilera might not be the first artist who comes to mind when thinking about who should perform the iconic Addams Family theme song, but it actually works. At just 43 seconds, it’s a pretty short track, but Aguilera predictably gives it her all, backed by those famous snaps.
The movie’s official soundtrack also features songs by Megan Thee Stallion, Yoshi Flower, Donna Missal, and Dominic Lewis. The movie itself includes voice acting from Oscar Isaac as Gomez Addams, Charlize Theron as Morticia Addams, and Chloë Grace Moretz as Wednesday Addams.
The first movie in the franchise, based on the cartoon by Charles Addams and later the 1960s television sitcom, was released in 2019. Aguilera also had a song called “Haunted Heart” on the first movie’s soundtrack.

Snoop Dogg Performs New Song as Cousin IT
Snoop Dogg voices the very hairy character Cousin IT in the new movie, performing a song called “It Ain’t Nuthin'” with October London. You can see IT’s performance of the track in a clip from the movie. Contrary to the song’s title, IT is everything.
Although the character usually speaks in gibberish, it turns out he sounds exactly like Snoop Dogg when he raps. In the preview clip, IT performs for a cheering crowd, telling them to “clap your hands to the beat and have a good time.” It’s basically quintessential Snoop Dogg.
You can listen to the full Addams Family 2 soundtrack now, and catch the movie in theaters or on demand.
