Chrissy Teigen Gives Birth, Welcomes Rainbow Baby with John Legend

The Voice coach John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen recently welcomed the latest addition to their family. The new baby joins the couple’s two children, 5-year-old Luna and 4-year-old Miles.
John Legend Announces Birth of New Baby with Chrissy Teigen
During a private concert held last January 13, Legend revealed that his family has become a little bigger that day. The singer-songwriter proudly confirmed that his wife has given birth to a “little baby this morning.”
“What a blessed day,” he said.
Legend admitted that he “didn’t get a lot of sleep” because he spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital. Nonetheless, he feels “energized” knowing that his baby has arrived.
Legend and Teigen’s newborn comes after the model suffered a pregnancy loss back in 2020. They lost their son Jack with a pregnancy complication that left with no choice but to save Teigen through abortion.
“An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance,” Teigen said.
Over a year later, the cookbook author shared that she was undergoing IVF treatment in an attempt to conceive again. The pregnancy blessing didn’t take too long though. She revealed on Instagram in early August 2022 that they were already have a baby on the way.
Their Family Has Long Been Ready for a New Baby
Understandably, Legend and his entire family are delighted with the baby. According to Teigen, Luna and Miles have been excited for a long time. She shares the same opinion with her husband, who told People in March that the two were “really anticipating” for another sibling.
“We’re all excited,” Legend said. “You know, my kids are old enough to really be aware of what’s happening, so they’re really anticipating having a new sibling in their lives. And I think they’ll be good at being a big sister and big brother.”
Aside from this surprise announcement, no additional details have been made by Legend so far. Be that as it may, fans are thrilled to know the news and have congratulated the family on social media.
