Longtime Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Cheryl Burke is currently preparing for her “farewell dance” on the series. The 38-year-old ballroom dancer hopes to return in Len Goodman’s place next season, since she will no longer be competing in the show.

Dancing With the Stars fans have been confused whether Burke will be leaving the series after this season. Even though Burke as a lengthy DWTS career, there has been no confirmation of her joining the judge panel. For those who may not know, the professional dancer was the first to win the coveted Mirrorball trophy twice consecutively during seasons two and three.
This past season, she danced with weatherman Sam Champion, where they finished in thirteenth place. After many years of competing on the show, Burke revealed it is taking a toll on her body.
At the moment, she is rehearsing for the finale of the show together with fellow pro Pasha Pashkov. She’s definitely planning on working in DWTS in the future, one way or another.

Cheryl Burke Demands to be Len Goodman’s Replacement
As Goodman makes his exit from being head judge on DWTS after 31 seasons, Burke has seemingly been trying to convince producers behind closed doors. According to an insider, Burke demanded that she become Goodman‘s replacement as a judge or she’s refusing to return for future seasons.
It appears as though Burke’s frustrations have reached a turning point. She apparently sees Goodman’s retirement as the perfect opportunity to be a part of the series in a different manner, Burke is not letting the chance go by.
Burke has competed on DWTS for 26 seasons and deems herself qualified to give critiques on the routines, desiring to be like Derek Hough. Despite being friends, the source confirms that Burke is disappointed not to have landed the spot Hough was given on the judge’s panel.
She has been dropping hints that this is her final season as a professional dancer on the show and wants to be a part in some other way. According to an insider, she’s eyeing to become a judge, as she made it abundantly clear that she wants Goodman’s spot on the panel.
