Adele Teases Las Vegas Residency on Instagram
In July of this year, Adele announced the rescheduled dates for her Las Vegas residency, “Weekends with Adele.” The show was originally supposed to premiere in January, but the show wasn’t ready in time. The singer posted a tearful video telling fans that she “can’t give you what I have right now.”
The residency will now run from November to March, with the first show on Friday, November 18. Adele posted about the residency on Instagram Thursday, sharing a photo of herself in the theater where it will take place. Behind her is a screen showing childhood photos.
“I’m feeling all sorts as I write this. I’m highly emotional, incredibly nervous but can’t sit still because I’m so excited,” Adele wrote in the caption, adding, “I always get scared before shows, and I take it as a good sign because it means I care and means I just want to do a good job.”
The singer shared that she’s “never been more nervous before a show in my career, but at the same time I wish today was tomorrow!” She told fans, “I can’t wait to see you out there.”

The Singer Performed at Hyde Park This Summer
While sharing why she was so nervous about the Las Vegas residency, Adele wrote, in part, “maybe it’s because Hyde Park went so great.” The singer is referring to two shows she played over the summer in London.
As Adele wrote on Instagram after her second show in July, “I’ll never forget these shows with you, slap bang in the middle of London, outdoors, during Pride weekend! You brought everything and more!”
The singer released her fourth studio album, titled 30, last November. It featured the lead single “Easy on Me.” Earlier this week, Adele was nominated for seven Grammys, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
