Bennifer is back! Jennifer Lopez Smiles at Questions About Ben Affleck

Two months ago, Jennifer Lopez and famous ex-boyfriend, Ben Affleck sparked dating rumors. Bennifer fans everywhere were over joyed to know that the star-studded duo might be dating again after 17 years a part. Now, the queen has spoken…kind of.
Lopez and Lin-Manual Miranda spoke to Good Morning America about how it has already been five years since the release of “Love Make The World Go Round”. This song was released after the tragic Pulse Night Club shooting in 2016.
The two stars met via Zoom to talk about their old performance, five years later. But, the interviewer brought up Lopez’s increased recent happiness during the interview.
The interviewer told Lopez that she seems happy in all of the press photos she’s been seeing, and even went as far as asking if it was because of Affleck. Sorry “Bennifer” fans, Lopez avoided the question.
“The song is out, five years since we’ve done it. And I believe that the message of loving one another and coming together and love, is never more relevant than it is right now,” Lopez said with a smile.
Is ‘Bennifer’ Written In The Stars?
Three months ago, J-Lo called off engagement with Alex Rodriguez after four years of dating. Before things got rocky, the couple originally postponed their wedding in Italy due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Before the split was confirmed, they publicly stated they were working through a rough patch.
Since the split, Lopez has been seen looking really happy in paparazzi photos… with a familiar face by her side. It seems like she rekindled her relationship with ex-fiancé Ben Affleck. The couple originally broke up in 2004 before their wedding due to unmanageable attention from the paparazzi.
Since their reconnection, the two have travelled to the Hamptons as well as Montana and enjoyed time together with their children. Clearly, their romance was not left 17 years in the past.
The duo met in 2002 when J-Lo was married to her second husband, Cris Judd. Their divorce finalized in 2003, but Lopez and Affleck started dating and got engaged in 2002. Eventually their wedding was postponed, then they eventually shared to the public that they had split ways.
Could this be a new beginning for Bennifer? Was their love always written in the stars? We sure hope so, but we’ll find out if they’re ever comfortable with sharing their status. Until then, we can continue gushing over the paparazzi photos.
