Ariana Madix Shades Ex Tom Sandoval During ‘Love Island USA’ Appearance

Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix made a guest appearance on Love Island USA on Tuesday night, as she hosted a game for the show’s contestants. During her appearance, Madix made sure to get a dig in about her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval.

During Tuesday’s new episode, Madix surprised the contestants with a game of “Mr. & Mrs.” to test how well they know each other. When introducing the game, the reality star made a not-so-subtle reference to her relationship with Sandoval.
“Take it from me, it’s important to know who you’re dating or sharing a bed with,” Madix told the contestants, according to Page Six. “And if they’re not the one for you, trust me, it’s better to find out sooner rather than later.”
The couple’s breakup (which earned the nickname “Scandoval”) made waves earlier this year after it was revealed that Sandoval cheated on Madix with their co-star Raquel Leviss. Madix has since moved on with her new boyfriend, Daniel Wai.

The Show Played a Part in the Couple’s Split
Madix’s appearance on Love Island USA might have been a dig at Sandoval in itself, since the show was brought up during their relationship. As Page Six points out, Madix told Sandoval in a May episode of Vanderpump Rules that she wanted them to spend quality time together.
“I don’t have time to watch 50 goddamn episodes of Love Island,” Sandoval told her. “That is your definition of quality time, not the definition of quality time.”
Madix has been thriving since her split from Sandoval. In addition to her Love Island appearance, she was also recently announced as the first celebrity contestant to join Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, set to premiere this fall on ABC and Disney+.
