America’s Got Talent returns to NBC this summer with the cast fans know and love. The series confirmed they will return to NBC on May 31. Within their announcement, they included a photo from last season featuring Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Terry Crews, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell. Ahead of this announcement the network hadn’t yet officially confirmed the cast.
Instead, the ticket site for auditions mentioned the inclusion of the beloved judges and host when it went active. Soon after tickets went on sale, fans noticed that the celebrities names were taken off the site and COVID-19 protocols had changed. No matter what seemed to happen in that time, it’s evident now that last season’s cast is definitely returning for season 17.
America’s Got Talent begins filming season 17 on April 1 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. Tickets are still available even though filming of auditions is happening slightly later this year, fans will see this series around the same time of year as always.
America’s Got Talent premieres on Tuesday, May 31 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET. Differing from last season, NBC will premiere another competition series behind the beloved show. Dancing With Myself will premiere from 10 to 11 p.m. ET on NBC.

Shakira’s newest dance series meshes online viral dance challenge format into a competition. It features a group of dancers will compete weekly in a series of dance challenges. Shakira, Nick Jonas, Liza Koshy, host Camille Kostek, and their friends create the dance challenges for contestants. The dancers are then placed into an isolation pod where they must learn the dance and add their own flare.
The celebrity judges will give each dancer notes, but ultimately the audience chooses the best dancer of the night. The winner brings home a cash prize. It was originally announced that Shaquille O’Neal was bound the join the judging panel, but he had to drop out. Jonas was added in his place.
Shakira has repeatedly posted on social media about how much fun this series is, so I can’t wait to see it play out. Dancing With Myself follows America’s Got Talent on the NBC schedule this summer.
