The 10 Best Family Acts We’ve Ever Seen on ‘America’s Got Talent’

We’ve seen quite a few family acts on America’s Got Talent over the years, as siblings, parents, and kids team up to deliver amazing performances. These families have performed everything from music to acrobatics.


The Best Family Acts on ‘AGT’

1. We Three

This music group from Season 13 was comprised of siblings Joshua, Bethany, and Manny. For their audition, the band performed an original song about their late mother, who passed away from cancer. The performance touched the judges, who sent them to the next round. We Three made it all the way to the Semifinals, performing several original songs along the way.

2. Bello Sisters

This trio of Italian-German sisters (Loren, Celine, and Joline) competed on Season 15 of the show. They come from an acrobatic family, and they wowed the judges with their balancing act that seemed to defy gravity. The sisters made it all the way to the finale.

3. Curtis Family C-Notes

This family band competed on Season 16 of the show. The group consisted of Papa C and Mama C, and their five kids who played various instruments. For their audition, they performed “I Was Made to Love Her” by Stevie Wonder. The judges voted to send them to the next round, and they made it to the Quarterfinals, where they performed “Love Train.”

4. Edgar

The Edgar family made up this musical trio in Season 11. The band was comprised of Nikki, her husband Ryan, and her daughter Jaslyn. Nikki shared her story of being shunned as a Christian artist for becoming a teen mom. For their audition, the family performed “I’ll Stand By You.” They made it all the way to the Semifinals.

5. Double Dragon

These twin sisters (Andrea and Irene Ramos) from Peru took the show by storm in Season 15 with their powerhouse voices and sparkly style. In their audition, they performed “It’s Raining Men.” The energetic performance sent them through to the next round, and they made it all the way to the Semifinals.

6. Rialcris

This acrobatic trio of brothers (Ricardo, Alejandro, and Cristian) was born in Colombia but lived in Mexico for decades. They come from a circus background, and they showed off an incredible talent for hand balancing. The brothers made it all the way to the Semifinals of Season 16.

7. Taubl Family

This family orchestra competed in Season 3 of the show. In their audition, they performed “The Sound of Music” on several instruments, including the harp and the violin. Piers Morgan buzzed the act, but the other two judges sent them through. The Taubl Family made it to the Semifinals. Unfortunately, they didn’t win Morgan over, as he buzzed them again in their final performance.

8. Messoudi Brothers

This acrobatic trio of brothers was trained by their father. The crowd went wild for their audition, which showed off their strength and balancing skills. Host Terry Crews even joined them on stage at one point. The Messoudi Brothers made it to the Semifinals of Season 14.

9. Spyros Bros

Brothers Marco Angelo and Marc Albert were raised in New York and later moved to the Philippines for college. Their diabolo act impressed the judges, and the brothers made it all the way to the Semifinals of Season 15. They even added pyrotechnics to take their routine to the next level.

10. Olate Dogs

We would be remiss if we didn’t mention the only family act to ever win America’s Got Talent. Richard Olate and his son Nicholas Olate won Season 7 of the show with their dog act. Most of their dogs were rescued from shelters, and they charmed the judges throughout the season, making it all the way to the finale and taking home the $100,000 grand prize.
