If there’s one night during The Voice that shapes the rest of the live shows moving forward, it’s tonight. With nearly half of the contestants leaving the show and their fate being all in America’s hands, we’re bound to have some shocking twists. With the Top Eight contestants being called out from America’s vote, each coach then was able to save one of their contestants before The Comeback Stage battle. So who made the harsh cut tonight to join the top 13? Let’s get into the results!
After Team Adam’s performance to Is This Love, we were given the top eight results from America’s vote. In order they were:
Gyth Rigdon (Team Blake)
Shawn Sounds (Team Legend)
Carter Lloyd Horne (Team Blake)
Rod Stokes (Team Kelly)
Kim Cherry (Team Blake)
Dexter Roberts (Team Blake)
Maelyn Jarmon (Team Legend)
Andrew Sevener (Team Blake)
There was no sight of Team Adam in the top eight, meanwhile his frenemy Blake dominated by claiming five of those spots! Each coach was then able to save one contestant.
Jej Vinson- Team Kelly
Oliv Blu- Team Blake
Mari- Team Adam
Celia Babini- Team John
With so many shocking eliminations, some that stood out to were Team Adam’s Domenic, Team Kelly’s Rebecca, Matthew and Presley, and Team Blake’s Kendra.
There was only one spot left and it went to the winner of The Comeback Stage. It was between four-chair turn LB Crew and Kanard Thomas. LB went first and performed to the song Electric Feel, while Kanard performed to Call Out My Name.
LB took the lead and claimed the last spot in the Top 13! What do you think of tonight’s results? Let us know in the comments!
