10 Of Our Favorite ‘American Idol’ Season 20 Finale Looks

American Idol season 20 wrapped on May 22 and we cannot stop thinking about it. Each Top 10 singer and judge shined on stage in their finale wardrobes. Here’s some of our favorite looks of the night.
The American Idol stylists always figure out a way to make each singer embody their inner superstar in the finale. Since each singer totally shined on stage, it’s clear that stylists went above and beyond for the finale episode.
1. Leah Marlene’s Blue Pantsuit
I absolutely loved this look on Leah. They’ve placed her in some bold pieces throughout the season, but this was by far the best. Off stage, the blue color accentuated her eyes which lit up her whole face.
2. Luke Bryan and HunterGirl’s Duet Ensemble
It’s no secret that HunterGirl has rocked some of the cutest dresses this season. This wasn’t my overall favorite look of hers, but I appreciated the similar outfit choice for the duet partners.
3. Katy Perry and Leah Marlene’s “Firework” Outfits
Both Perry and Leah were styled in beautiful iridescent outfits for their “Firework” duet. Their bright color scheme brought this performance up a level. Not only were they singing about being a “Firework,” they were one!
4. Christian Guardino’s Suit
It’s no secret that Christian was one of the best dressed of the men this season. He always stunned on the stage with some type of bold pattern and neutral colors underneath. While this wasn’t the most wild outfit worn by Christian, I still thought it was a good look for him.
5. Nicolina’s Baby Blue Flowy Dress
This dress is the definition of superstar in my eyes. Everything about this style hit the mark for me, Nicolina looked amazing. The silver jewelry to match the dress’s belt sealed this outfit as one of the best of the night.
6. Lionel Richie’s Yellow Finale Look
Richie is normally one of the most fashionable judges on the American Idol stage, but never like this. The R&B singer ditched his muted, dark tones, and patterns for the night to stun in a bright yellow.
7. Emyrson Flora’s Showstopping Black and Blue Romer
Emyrson shined in a gorgeous blue dress during her duet with Gabby Barrett. Even though the singers were in differing colors, they both looked great on stage. This was definitely one of Emyrson’s best outfits this season.
8. Jay Copeland’s Edgy Finale Look
Jay traded in his colorful outfits for an edgy finale look. Even though this outfit was very different from his earlier in the season looks, he rocked it on stage.
9. HunterGirl’s Glitzed Jacket and Skirt
HunterGirl rocked almost every glitzed outfit she was put in this season, especially this one. This is probably my favorite because of the movement the tassels produce. It was like the outfit was dancing along with her.
10. Ryan Seacrest’s Velvet Suit Coat
We didn’t forget about you, Seacrest. The beloved host rocked a blue velvet outfit by Gucci during the final night of American Idol. Seacrest has brought the fashion since the beginning of the series, so it’s no surprise that he continues to in modern day.
