Which ‘AGT’ Season 17 Golden Buzzer Recipient Are You?
We’ve seen dozens of great contestants grace the America’s Got Talent stage, but there’s an elite bunch that earn the greatest prize of all. At this point all four judges and the host have given their coveted Golden Buzzers out to worthy participants.
All five of the regular season Golden Buzzers have officially been given out to their worthy participants. Out of all five recipients, three of them (Sara James, Madison Taylor Baez, and Lily Meola) are singers. The other two are a saxophone player (Avery Dixon) and dancers (Mayyas Dance Crew). Fans are unsure if a group golden buzzer will be given this season after it’s season 16 introduction with Victory Brinker.
Answer some questions about your favorite things and find out which of this years Golden Buzzer recipients you are. Are you one of the five recipients, or did you actually get the coveted group Golden Buzzer?
America’s Got Talent Skips a Week
With 10 anticipated weeks of auditions on the rise, America’s Got Talent has reached their first hiccup in scheduling. This Tuesday, July 5, NBC will air a new episode of the series, but it will not feature auditions. Instead, the show is a compilation of Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzers. We expect this will be a reminiscent type of episode featuring commentary from the judge himself.
Even though a break in scheduling is nice, fans are confused as to why a break was necessary with the lack of Judge Cuts. For those that don’t know, Judge Cuts allegedly have once again been axed this season. We don’t know if deliberations will be in their place or not.
Early on in the season, America’s Got Talent confirmed that each judge and the host would once again hit their Golden Buzzer for their favorite acts. Together, that creates five weeks of auditions with Golden Buzzers, not counting the group Golden Buzzer. Since Judge Cuts have reportedly been axed, we’re curious as to what other weeks of the competition will look like. If there are 10 weeks of auditions, why did each of the Golden Buzzers air so early?
America’s Got Talent returns with auditions on Tuesday, July 12, with the live shows set to begin in early August. We hope to see some sort of judge cuts return to AGT this season.
