Team Shraey Khanna has been lighting up stages all over the world with their dance tributes to the late Michael Jackson. The group from India is full of personality and moves that really pack a punch. Check out one of their most memorable performances below on an Italian talent show called Tu Si Que Vales in 2018. Coincidently they were rejected on America’s Got Talent and we can’t stop wondering why.
This performance has over 35 million views on YouTube and rightfully so because it is something fresh that we haven’t seen before.
Team Shraey Khanna Was On An Italian TV Show & ‘Showtime At The Apollo’
The founder of the dance group, Shaery Khanna, is a choreographer and dancer that won the Indian show Star Plus in 2013. He established his own group to go on Tu Si Que Vales in a style of dance that mirrors the work of Jackson. For them, Jackson was and is a major dance inspiration. They aspire to reach out and touch the lives of as many people as possible through dance. In this particular dance performance on an Italian talent show, the judges were in awe as Team Shraey Khanna danced to a remix of Jackson’s greatest hits and delivered some of his most iconic moves.
It was Khanna’s moonwalk that really had everyone amazed at this unique take on Bollywood dancing in Europe. They paid homage to his songs like “Thriller” and “Dangerous” imitating some of Jackson’s moves including the infamous crotch-grab and side slide.

Reject Indian Act By ‘America’s Got Talent’ Wins Global Applause
Not only did they appear on this Italian talent show, but they made their way to the United States to appear on Showtime At The Apollo hosted by Steve Harvey. This is the same show that kickstarted Jackson’s career. What a great way to follow in the footsteps of their idol, plus they had the entire audience laughing hysterically.
The group also auditioned for America’s Got Talent in 2019 but their audition was not on television and since they did not make it to the next round and we never heard anything about it, they clearly did not make it through. But, we can only imagine it was yet another captivating performance that shows how dynamic Bollywood dancing is.
Where Is This Rejected Indian Act Now?
The group has continued to put out content on Shraey Khanna’s YouTube channel that has 735,000 subscribers. One of their most recent performances was posted back in February at the Biggest Event Management Association, EEMA. He launched a show called, Shraey Khanna Live, a dance experience unlike any other where you could see some of Team Shraey Khanna’s best performances live on stage. This along with another business venture called Dance With Shraey was launched to provide dance lessons for children in schools and summer camps.

The group continues to perform at sporting events including the Entertainment Premier League and they definitely seem like they have a very promising future ahead of them.
