Can you believe The Voice is back ALREADY? John Legend is on the scene and his fellow Voice coaches are SHOOK. Season 16 is about to make it’s debut and it’s going to be EPIC.
John Legend Joins The Voice
‘Altogether Legendary’ is the theme for season 16 of The Voice. Pun intended? I think so! John Legend is definitely going to make his mark this season, and may even give 2-time winning coach, Kelly Clarkson a run for her money.
The grammy winner revealed, “I’m thrilled to join the coaches of The Voice. I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.” Oh we ready John, we ready!
John already knows the ropes considering he co-mentored talent for season 12 of The Voice. The father-of-two will be such an asset to The Voice team. Why you ask? The powerhouse singer has a resume longer than a CVS receipt.
All jokes aside, John has such a kind spirit and we could definitely see him bringing home a W for this season.
After news hit that John joined the cast, NBC’s Paul Telegdy gushed, “John Legend is a one-of-a-kind musician and producer with remarkable skills that are beyond measure,” the entertainment guru continued. “His multi-dimensional career and incredible talents provide a repertoire that will excite and inspire our artists. This coaching panel is sure to ignite season 16.”
Thats right, John is definitely going to IGNITE this season. I’m also secretly hoping John’s wife Chrissy Teigen makes an appearance on The Voice in one way or another. Putting it out into the universe that Chrissy will co-mentor alongside her hubby. Voice gods please hear my prayers!
